This policy explains how Kudco LLC ("Kudco", "we") collects and uses personal data, and the rights you have over it. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and apply the same standards to everyone, wherever they live.

2. What we collect and why

Website visitors: basic technical data such as browser and device type, and pages viewed. We use it to run and secure the site and, if you agree to analytics cookies, to measure how it is used. Legal basis: our legitimate interest; your consent for analytics. Kept for up to 24 months.

People who contact us: name, company, email, phone, message, and anything you enter in our cost calculator. We use it to reply to you and prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying. Kept for 24 months after our last contact.

Business prospects: name, job title, company and business contact details from public sources such as LinkedIn and company websites. We use it to contact businesses that may need our services. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in business-to-business marketing. You can object at any time. Kept until you object, or for 24 months without contact.

Client contacts: name, job title, business contact details, contract and billing information. We use it to deliver our services, invoice and manage the relationship. Legal basis: performance of our contract and our legal obligations. Kept for 7 years after the contract ends, for tax and accounting records.

Candidates and contractors: CV, contact details, work history, skills, interview notes, identity and reference checks. We use it to assess you for roles, present you to clients and manage your contract. Legal basis: steps before a contract, performance of the contract, and your consent to keep your CV for future roles. Unsuccessful candidates: kept for 12 months unless you ask us to keep it longer. Contractors: kept for 7 years after the contract ends.

We do not sell personal data. We do not make automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Who we share it with

Clients: if you are a candidate, we share your profile with client companies considering you for a role, most of them in the United States. We tell you before we do.

Service providers that process data for us under contract, including our website host, Google Workspace (email and files), analytics (only with your consent), and our accounting and payment providers.

Professional advisers and authorities, where the law requires it.

4. International transfers

We and our partners work across the United States, Europe and South Africa, so your data may be processed in those places. When we send data from the European Economic Area or the UK to another country, we protect it with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (where the recipient is certified), the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or, where appropriate, your explicit consent. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, send it to you or another organisation in a portable format, or stop using it, including for marketing. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect anything we did before.

Email your request to info@kudco.net, or send your request through the contact form on this website or by post to the address in section 1. We reply within one month. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

We use access controls, two-factor authentication, password managers and encrypted services. Everyone who works with us must keep client and candidate data confidential.

7. Children

Our services are for businesses and working adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell clients and candidates about important changes.
